EMMETT Practitioner Training
The EMMETT Technique Practitioner training is open to all including undergraduates and non-therapists as there are no pre-requisites. It is also suitable for qualified medical professionals and complementary therapists interested in extending their skills. Many students are learning their first ever complementary therapy and do exceptionally well.
All practitioners are encouraged to enhance their existing practice by integrating the EMMETT Technique with any prior training. Exercise specialists such as Pilates instructors, yoga teachers and personal trainers and coaches are also very attracted to this course.
The course is divided into two-day learning blocks, called Modules, with 6 Modules in total across 12 days. Material covered in the previous Module is reviewed before new work is covered. This ensures that all participants are up to date and ready to learn new material. Modules 1&2 are one day each in duration and always taught as a two-day block. The last two days are a review plus a client clinic day. The total course therefore consists of 12 days.
I have run EMMETT Practitioner courses in Cardiff, Llandeilo, Groesffordd, Nunney, Newport, Swansea, Ammanford, Monmouthshire, Vale of Glamorgan, Margam, Shropshire, Yeovil and Milton Keynes since being invited by Ross Emmett to be an Instructor in 2015. These courses are now complete, with a number of new practitioners joining the EMMETT family in Wales, the West Country and the Border counties and also in The Milton Keynes area.
I am adding the list of courses and module dates here for reference, as well as an application form.
There are some areas where only a few practitioners are available in Wales this includes Pembrokeshire, Gwynedd, Powys, Conwy, Flintshire and Denbighshire. If you are in one of these areas and would be interested in having a course in your area please contact me to discuss the possibilities. I am always very happy to spend time in any of these beautiful areas of Wales.
Since the start of my own EMMETT journey, one of my main interests has been to increase the number of practitioners in Wales, the Borders and the West Country, the opportunity to become an Instructor for EMMETT Therapies gave me this great chance.
New students and those who want to review the training modules are welcome to join me on these courses.
Practitioner Course Fees
Each 2 day module will be £350 for new students. 50% fees are payable by students repeating modules.
Anyone paying before 1st January 2025 will pay current prices. (£340)
GBP 100 deposit (GBP 50 if repeating) will be taken at the time of booking to secure your place. This is non-refundable. (Unless cancelled due to any new restrictions or lack of student numbers)
Module fee balance is due at least 3 weeks prior to the module start date.
I am always happy to allow students to pay in advance in instalments by standing order. Each module taken must be paid in full by the day of the module starting. This makes it more affordable for many students.

Course fees are payable in advance per module, by cheque or bank transfer. Payment is now possible directly from this website -see Training Payments. There is an opportunity to discuss paying in instalments by standing order if this helps students, however, the fees for the module being taken must be paid up in full by the time the module starts.
